Minimal Monday: Between the Realms & Flaming Olive
Minimal Monday focuses on Romanian minimal — flowing journeys of groove. Every second and fourth Monday we have a dedicated night for Minimal, Dub, and Ro, in the basement lounge of Cap Hill Confidential. There are couches for people to unwind and an open space to dance to the groove.
Lineup
Between the Realms
Between the Realms is a top-tier selector. I was introduced to her at a mountain party this past winter and was thoroughly impressed by her mixing and track selections. She is an open-format DJ who kept the party bumping across multiple journeys through a variety of genres. She began the event playing good minimal and house. Then we moved all of her gear indoors, where she proceeded to go B2B with good talent flowing through Ro, house, into bass music, then into 2000’s bangers — and I know she snuck in some DnB somewhere in there. The party was on fire all night.
Flaming Olive
Flaming Olive is also joining us for Minimal Monday. We are interested in catching more tracks from their dedicated minimal folder.
